Among the two ethnicities mainly inbabiting Manaslu region, Nubri and Tsum which is bodering by the River Chhikur and highlighted the Tsum valley. Tsuum still classical and traditional , like the nubri they are no contact the outer world. The region is dotted with amazing maniwalls, chortens and ohter buddhist religious significant. Traditional faith of the region of the Tsum are non-violence and compassion. The Tsum region which was restricated for  the mass tourists for a long time, is now the center of order to retain its pristine culture and sustain its fragile ecosystem. Government of Nepal recently give authorised the group trekking in the tsum valley.

Tsum valley preserve its aura of the untouchbility  and purity since a decade. Recently introduction this unique natural heritage , opening this trekking area , now a days popular as the Tsum  Valley trekking. Serene himal, Ganesh Himal and manaslu himala range are the more majestic view aare seen there. On the background of this , Tsum valley stay in a serene and calm form.   In the Tibetan words, that means ‘tosombo’ which means the vivid. Local people said this valley ‘tsum ko chuksum’which means the thirteen provinces ruled as a single territory. The ancient remain of the Tsum kingdom are still  there. It is believed that Buddhit sainta milerapa mediation in the cave of the Tsum Valley.
